Rezydencje Artystyczne
Projekt autorskich Rezydencji Artystycznych. Projekt jest realizowany od 2018 w Gdańsku. Od tego czasu kilkutygodniowe rezydencje odbyło już sześć rezydencji twórców. Najważniejszym elementem rezydencji jest kreowanie stytuacji spotkania.
Z każdym z rezydentów mieliśmy okazję poznać się w wyjątkowych warunkach, o które trudno w instytucji - mieszkaliśmy pod jednym dachem. Praca nad projektami przebiegała podczas wielu rozmów w kuchni, wspólnych spacerów, gotowania, pielenia ogródka, spotkań z nowymi ludźmi. Największą wartością kilkutygodniowych pobytów jest relacja, która zrodziła się w procesie rezydencji na linii artysta-kurator, gość-gospodarz oraz wydarzenia, emocje, którymi naładowane były wszystkie dni obecności artystów w Trójmieście. Miejscem działań rezydencyjnych jest stuletnia willa i ogród w dzielnicy Oliwa.
Format rezydencyjny jest doskonałą metodą na wzajemne poznanie środowisk twórczych danych miast – regionów i ich środowiska artystycznego.
Wybór rezydenta/tki był dokonywany na podstawie researchu wśród osób twórczych poszukujących drogi rozwoju artystycznej. Podczas pobytu i przy współpracy z kuratorką projektu, w nowych okolicznościachi możliwościach jakie daje Miasto Gdańsk rodziły się nowe pomysły do rozwijania po czasie rezydencyjnym.
Podczas pobytów inicjowaliśmy sytuację, w których nasi goście odważyli się na wyjście do publiczności z działaniem artystycznym, warsztatem lub wykładem, dzieląc się swoją wiedzą lub nową perspektywą na Gdańsk.

The project of Artist’s Residency has been implemented since 2018 in Gdańsk. Since then, six residencies of artists have already held several-week residencies. The most important element of the residence is creating the situation of meeting.
We had the opportunity to meet each resident in exceptional conditions that are difficult to find in an institution - we lived under the same roof. Work on the projects took place during many conversations in the kitchen, joint walks, cooking, weeding the garden, meetings with new people. The greatest value of a few-week-long stays is the relationship that emerged in the artist-curator, guest-host line as well as the events and emotions with which all the days of the artists' presence in the Tri-City were charged. The place of residence activities is a hundred-year-old villa and a garden in the Oliwa district.
The residential format is an excellent method of getting to know each other's creative environments of given cities - regions and their artistic milieu.
The choice of a resident was made on the basis of research among creative people looking for a way of artistic development. During the stay and in cooperation with the project curator, in the new circumstances and opportunities offered by the City of Gdańsk, new ideas were born to develop after the residency.
During our visits, we initiated situations in which our guests dared to go out to the public with an artistic activity, workshop or lecture, sharing their knowledge or a new perspective on Gdańsk.
